Trinity-Sergius Lavra, Sergiev Posad

Founded by St Sergius of Radonezh c. 1337. The largest men's monastery in Russia and a Patriarchal residence; home of the Moscow Theological Academy. The ensemble is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
